Ricco Mueller, also called Rimus, was born deaf in 1985. He's very proud of being deaf though. In mid 2007 Rimus went to Japan for two months, which is a country he admires. He was also very inspired by their culture. There is where his passion for photography was born and where he started working on his first portfolio. Patrick Mettraux and Luke Smalley were his inspiration and Patrick also supported Rimus' work. The same year Rimus started working, in Mettraux's atelier, on his first official fashion photography shooting with models. That's how much of his aesthetic and playful pictures came alive.
